Our Location

Kala Nera of Pelion is 17 kilometers from the area of Volos and perfectly combines green and blue, the absolute beauty of nature and the comfort of staying. They are an ideal holiday destination all year round.

The advantageous location of the village enables the visitor to enjoy the sea enjoyment during the summer months but at the same time he can visit the entire mountain range of Pelion in a short period of time, without any particular difficulty in access.

During the winter months, Kala Nera of Pelion can serve as a base for the visitor to the ski resort of Chania and the other villages of Pelion, as the privileged position of the village offers the possibility of avoiding difficulties due to weather conditions and easy access to every direction of the mountain.

There is regular transportation from Volos with approximately 30 daily trips. Fully manned ships carry daily cruises to Pagasitikos and the nearby islands of the Northern Sporades (Skiathos – Skopelos – Alonnisos), starting at the port of the village.

The beach is fully manned and controlled by a lifeguard tower, also a well-organized first aid station with a doctor present during the summer months, operating at the Beachside Recreation Center, with free access for all.
